The Story Behind Peach Orchard
One of the things I love most about creating fragrances is how a scent can instantly transport you to a place, a memory, or a special moment in time.
Our Peach Orchard fragrance was inspired by just such a memory.
We are fortunate to have friends who own a beautiful property in Almería, in southern Spain. During visits there, I fell in love with the vibrant colours, warm sunshine, and abundance of fresh fruit available in the local markets.
The market stalls were overflowing with the most incredible produce. Rows of juicy peaches, nectarines, oranges, and other sun-ripened fruits filled the air with a naturally sweet and refreshing aroma. It was impossible not to be inspired.
What stood out most were the peaches. Their velvety skin, golden-orange colour, and wonderfully sweet fragrance seemed to capture everything I loved about the Spanish summer. Every visit to the market felt like a sensory experience, with the scent of fresh fruit mingling with the warmth of the Mediterranean air.
When I returned home to Suffolk, those memories stayed with me. I wanted to create a fragrance that captured that feeling of strolling through a bustling Spanish market on a sunny morning, surrounded by baskets of freshly picked peaches.
After much testing, Peach Orchard was born.
The fragrance opens with the delicious scent of ripe peaches, bursting with sweetness and sunshine. It evokes memories of orchard fruits picked at their peak and brings a fresh, uplifting atmosphere into your home.
For me, Peach Orchard is more than just a fragrance. It's a reminder of holidays, friendship, sunshine-filled days, and the simple pleasure of discovering beautiful local produce in a place that holds special memories.
Every time I light a Peach Orchard candle or enjoy one of our wax melts, I'm transported back to those colourful market stalls in Almería and the wonderful inspiration they provided.
